Our practice schedule over this next week will be the following:
Monday and Tuesday right after school at Lawler.
Wednesday will be 8am to 10am at the HS.
We will take off on Thanksgiving Day.
Friday will be 8am to 10am at the HS.
Our second scrimmage will be Saturday, Nov. 28th at Louisville Waggoner High School against Manual. Our bus will leave at 9:30. The JV game will begin at 12:30 and the varsity game will be at 2:00.

North Hardin Scrimmage
In our first scrimmage of the year against North Hardin we reset the score every quarter. We won the first quarter, lost the 2nd and 3rd quarters and then won the 4th quarter. When combining the scores we lost 58-53.
North Hardin was a very big, physical team and that really hurt us on the glass. We were out rebounded 34-22 and gave up 17 second chance points. Without the injured Aaron Deviney we were really short handed on the interior.
For the game we shot 15/46 for 33% but only 5/23 from the 3 point line. We did shoot 18/24 from the line for 75%. North Hardin was 25/59 from the field and 4/22 from the 3 point line and made 4/8 from the FT line. We committed 13 turnovers to North Hardin's 12.

Cancellation of open practice on Monday
We have to cancel our open practice for Monday night because the gym was already scheduled to be used that night for the Jr-Sr volleyball games. We will reschedule for another night.

Dan Powers GM Center of Leitchfield Jamboree
We will hold our 10th annual scrimmage jamboree on Saturday, Nov. 21st. We would like to thank the Dan Powers GM Center of Leitchfield for sponsoring our jamboree. Without the sponsorship it makes the jamboree a much larger task to pull off. The schedule of games for the jamboree is below.

3:00-Muhlenberg Co. vs South Oldham
5:00-Mclean Co. vs Central Hardin
7:00-Grayson Co. vs North Hardin
This is the largest fundraiser of the year for our boys. Please try to attend and spread the word about our jamboree so everybody can get their first look at the defending 3rd region champions before the regular season gets underway.

Open Practice on Monday, Nov. 16th
We will be conducting our 1 open practice for the year on Monday, Nov. 16th. The practice will start at 5:30 and last approximately 2 hours. There will also be a short booster meeting following the practice to finalize the details for our Dan Powers GM Center of Leitchfield Jamboree on Nov. 21st. Please make arrangements to attend.

MEET THE COUGARS NIGHT
The Meet the Cougars Night sponsored by our girl's basketball team will be on Friday, November 20th. The chili supper will begin at 5:30 with the activities beginning around 6:30. Please come out and support our boys and girls on this tip-off of the 2009-2010 season. For the first time in school history, both the boys and girls are pre-season #1 picks in the Cats Pause Magazine. This poll is voted on by the coaches in the 3rd region. Should be an exciting year for both programs.

Our freshman will compete in the 3rd region freshman league on Saturdays during the season. Below is the schedule for our freshman.
