Cougar Jamboree

First of all, I would like to thank all the parents for their help during our jamboree.  A big thanks goes to Dan Powers GMC Center here in Leitchfield for being our primary sponsor for the 5th year in a row.  We really appreciate their efforts to help our school and team out.  To all the other sponsors that purchased ads on the shirts or in our program, we really appreciate the support.

Thanksgiving practice schedule

We will have our 2nd scrimmage on Tuesday,  Nov. 22nd vs. South Warren and then we will take off on Wednesday and Thursday.  We will practice on Friday, Nov. 25th at 8:00-10:00am.  We will then take off Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving break.

2nd Scrimmage

Our 2nd and last scrimmage this season will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at GCHS vs South Warren.  This scrimmage will be for all 3 of our teams beginning at 5:30 with our freshman.  The jv team will play next, followed by the varsity scrimmage. 

Cougar Jamboree

Our scrimmage jamboree will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19th at GCHS.  The schedule of games follows.

Meet The Cougars Night

On Friday, Nov. 18th, we will participate in the annual Meet the Cougars Night at GCHS.  The event will take place beginning around 5:30 with the chili supper followed by the basketball events.  The events will begin with the 3 point contest. Our girls team which is pre-season ranked #1 in the 3rd region will then scrimmage for a period of time before we take the floor.  We hope everyone comes out to support both teams on this night and throughout the year. 

Meet the Cougars Night

On Friday, Nov. 19th we will take part in the annual "Meet the Cougars" night at Grayson County High School.  The event is conducted by our girl's basketball team and will begin with a chili supper at 5:30.  At the event all the players for the upcoming edition of our girls' and boys' teams will be introduced.  There will be a 3 point contest and both teams will hold scrimmages.  

Summer Schedule

Our summer dates are completed but we still do not know the times of some games.

June, 1st, 2nd, 3rd-Practice after school. Location and time TBA.
June 7th-Practice. Location and time TBA.

June 8th-At Bowling Green. 2 varsity and 2 jv games.
June 9th-At Meade County. 2 varsity games at 4:30 and 6:30, 2 jv games at 5:30 and 7:30.
June 10th-At Mclean County. 2 varsity games TBA.

June 14-17th. Kids camp from 8-12:30

June 15th-At Edmonson County. 2 varsity and 2 jv games TBA.
June 16th-At Larue County. 2 varsity games at 2:00 and 3:00, 2 jv games at 3:00 and 4:00

June 18th-At Barren County-3 varsity games and 2 jv games TBA.
June 19th-At Barren County-2 varsity games and 2 jv games TBA.
June 22nd-At Russellville-2 varsity and 1 jv game TBA.
June 24th-HOME vs Warren East at 12:00 and Mclean Co. at 2:00.

We are done for the summer after June 24th. We will begin weightlifting when school gets back into session in August.
