We were fortunate to win our 2 scrimmage games on Nov. 19 and Nov. 22. In our first scrimmage game we had to come from 15 points behind to win by 3 over Mclean Co. 61-58. Defensively, we struggled stopping the 3 pointer as Mclean Co. made 11-25. We forced several second half turnovers and came back to win. We were led by Ollie Roberts with 20 points. Brady Clemons led us with 5 assists and Ethan Saltsman led us with 7 rebounds.
In our second scrimmage we beat South Warren 53-43. Our defense was much better in this game but we struggled offensively. We only made 3-12 from behind the arc and shot 50% from the free throw line. We were led by Ethan Saltsman's 16 points and 7 rebounds. Ollie Roberts led us with 5 assists and also shared the steals lead with Brady Clemons with 4 a piece. We forced SW into 24 turnovers but committed 17 ourselves.
Our next action will be the season opener versus district rival Butler Co. The game is on December 2nd and is a boy/girl doubleheader with the girls playing at 6:00.
