Hancock County

We traveled to Hancock Co. on Friday night to take on the Hornets in our last regular season game of the year. We came away with an 81-56 victory to improve our regular season record to 15-8.

We got off to a tremendous start in this game, something we have been lacking in the last 4 games. Travis Johnston scored 18 points in the first quarter as we took a 29-10 lead. In the second quarter Hunter Gary scored 9 points and Brady Clemons chipped in with 5 as we went to the locker room with a 47-21 lead. We shot 70% in the first half and played good defense with the exception of giving up 4 first half 3 pointers.

In the 3rd quarter Aaron Deviney scored all 8 of his points by going 2-2 from the 3 point line and 2-2 from the foul line. Aaron also led us by pulling down 9 rebounds in 16 minutes of play. In the 4th quarter we played all of the bench. Ethan Saltsman was fantastic in the 4th quarter as he scored 10 points.
