Trinity game

In our last regular season district game last night we traveled to Trinity High School and came away with a 63-41 win. It was our first game in almost 2 weeks because of the weather.

We jumped out to a quick lead at the end of the first quarter by the score of 19-4 and that allowed us to play everybody quickly and give everyone a lot of playing time. Hunter Gary scored 8 points in the first quarter and Tyler Saltsman pitched in with 6.

In the second quarter Trey Tinsley scored 8 points and Hunter Gary scored 5 to lead us to a 38-21 halftime lead. We lost some of our defensive intensity in the second quarter but we still won the quarter 19-17.

In the second half we were able to get everyone several minutes of playing time without losing our lead. We led 52-29 going into the 4th quarter.

We had several players play very well last night. Tyler Saltsman led us with 15 points followed by Hunter Gary's 14 and Trey Tinsley's 12. Aaron Deviney led us with 14 rebounds and Travis Johnston led us with 9 assists.

Brady Clemons did not play because of an illness but should be back the next game.

Trey Tinsley was chosen the K105 Player of the Game for coming off the bench and scoring a career high 12 points.
